Growing up in a community where I was constantly finding ways to build my confidence, I discovered that clothes, beauty, and accessories were where I felt most like myself. As a Chinese and Vietnamese American raised in Denver, style became my way of showing up, and creating styling content is where my passion truly came to life.
I was always on the search to find the best bag that could keep up with my lifestyle, but always found that each bag was like a black hole. No pockets, no dividers, no zippers. I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a bag that was just for the looks. I wanted functionality paired with chic.

About me
I’m Salena, founder of SOLSTICE. Anyone who knows me knows I’m always in motion, with a hundred ideas running at once and very little time to slow down. I needed a bag that could move with me through the rush, the spills, the drops, and everything in between. When I couldn’t find one that felt both elevated and truly functional, I decided to design it myself.
I also understand the pull of every new it-bag, and how quickly that habit becomes expensive. My taste shifts constantly, but I’ve never believed I should have to choose between chic and practical. I want both. I want pieces that evolve with me, with my style, and with every season of my life.
That is the heart of SOLSTICE: thoughtfully designed bags that balance beauty and function, made to be worn and loved at a price that feels within reach. I hope they keep up with you, too.
